The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Awarded $309,500 to Support Efforts in DiversitySBS was awarded a $309,500 three-year grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to increase the number of African American, Hispanic, and Native Americans who apply to, matriculate, and graduate from SBS doctoral programs; to enhance and develop strategies to achieve this goal; and to identify successful strategies and publish this knowledge so that other institutions can join in the effort to increase diversity in academia.
