Geography Professor Shares in $1 Million Global Prize![]() Geography professor and climatologist Ellen Mosley-Thompson, along with Ohio State glaciologist Lonnie Thompson and British geologist Geoffrey Eglinton, are among this year's winners of the prestigious $1 million Dan David Prize, for their breakthrough work in climate change. The Dan David Prize is administered through Tel Aviv University. "A recognition of this magnitude actually honors the long-term efforts by our entire team of researchers and students at Ohio State.
