Market Failure and Market DesignRoom 20, Page Hall (North Oval Mall), 6:00 P.M. Harvard economist Alvin Roth's research, teaching, and consulting interests are in game theory, experimental economics, and market design. Roth will discuss about how markets sometimes fail, and how we can sometimes fix them when they're broken. He will draw upon his extensive research on the U.S. markets for kidney exchange, labor markets for doctors and lawyers, and school choice in New York City and Boston. |
